Black Friday Eve
My family doesn’t really celebrate Thanksgiving, but we do however love Black Friday. We love it so much that we even get together on Black Friday Eve and have an elaborate meal to celebrate. We do it to commemorate, the early settlers who came to this new world looking for a great bargain. After many long winters of getting screwed for overpriced goods, they came across the Indians, who then went on to show the settlers where the really good deals were. After we’ve finished eating, and while we are having pie and coffee, we’ll all take turns going around the table and sharing what discounts or one-day-only specials we were most thankful for that year. Sometimes tears are shed and it gets kind of emotional, but in the end we all agree that no matter where family is; if we’ve gotten there first, then NO you cant cut in line with me; get to the back of the line like everyone else!
